Press Releases
'Kennet regained the winning habit with a worthy display over Firefly. Denise Adlington and Geoff Lewis set the stall with a quickie threesome and were nearly matched by Sue McGown and Carl Willetts. Even debutante Andy Scarrett added to the score as Kennet C celebrated their first victory.'
'Phillip McGoun and Margaret Davison won their last game against Firefly 15-1, but unfortunately all the previous games had not gone quite so well! Three rubbers from Sue Pike and Gary Leach have pushed Firefly into the Division 4 promotion zone.'
'Pinnacle remain unbeaten in division four after Debbie Cook and Guy McBride plundered a weakened Firefly. Yvonne Masters and Glen Powell added the finishing touches to leave the leagues newest club nicely set for promotion in their first year.'
'Kennet kept their bid for promotion alive with a timely win over Firefly. Fiona Scarrett and Clive Evans led the way with two and a half points and the immaculate Gillian Sitch continued her fine form with another two points partnered by Brian Bull. Firefly briefly threatened through Pike and Leach until Lisa Thorne and Co Winter saw off the tal to leave Kennet with a promotion life-line.'
